Creator Monetization Disclaimer

Last updated: May 22, 2026

1. Creator Status

Creators on PropWatch are independent users, not employees, contractors, or agents of PropWatch. You are responsible for your own taxes, business registration, and compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Revenue Share

When a user purchases your strategy, PropWatch retains a platform fee and the remaining amount is credited to your creator balance. The exact split is shown at upload time and on your payout balance page. Stripe processing fees are deducted before the split is calculated.

3. Payout Clearance

Earnings move from pending to cleared after a holding period (typically 14 days) to allow for refunds and chargebacks. Only cleared funds can be withdrawn.

4. Payout Requests

  • Minimum withdrawal amounts apply.
  • Requests are reviewed by admins, typically within 5 business days.
  • We may delay or reject payouts if we detect fraud, chargebacks, or rule violations.
  • You must have a valid Stripe Connect account or approved payout method.

5. Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload strategies that:

  • Promise guaranteed returns or contain financial advice.
  • Are plagiarized or violate someone else's intellectual property.
  • Include malware, executable code, or links to credential-harvesting sites.
  • Promote get-rich-quick schemes, MLMs, or pyramid structures.
  • Contain hate speech, harassment, or illegal content.

6. Refunds & Disputes

Buyers may request refunds within 7 days of purchase if content is materially different from what was advertised. Approved refunds are deducted from your pending or cleared balance. We will notify you before processing.

7. Chargebacks & Fraud

Chargebacks initiated by the buyer's bank are automatically deducted from your balance. Funds from purchases later flagged as fraudulent (stolen cards, account takeover) will be reversed.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend creator status or remove strategies for rule violations. Pending balances from legitimate sales remain payable; balances from violating activity may be withheld.

9. Taxes

You are solely responsible for reporting income earned on the Platform. Stripe may issue tax forms (e.g. 1099-K in the US) where required.
